Disney’s Official Wreck-it Ralph Game Goes Up on Google Play for $0.99

Posted: 12 Nov 2012 06:54 PM PST

Disney’s Wreck-it Ralph has landed on Google Play for $0.99, and much like the movie, it features a few different games inside the one app. There are three different games to be exact – some that pay homage to the older arcade-style titles that the movie is based on, and then another that features more futuristic 3D graphics and shoot-em-up gameplay.*
I have not seen the movie yet, but it actually looks pretty cute. Feel free to let me know how you liked it, but please, no spoilers.

Google Play Music Update Supports Gapless Playback, Other Nifty Features

Posted: 12 Nov 2012 06:54 PM PST

Android audiophiles can get a little excited today since Google decided to push out an update to their Play Music application. The biggest addition, something that it was previously lacking, is gaplass playback. No longer will there be an awkward pause between your songs as you go through your party playlist, just smooth uninterrupted tunes.
Google also expanded the types of playlists you can keep on your device as well as “auto-generated Instant Mixes on Recent tab based on your favorite songs.” Improvements for offline playback have been added and make this a very solid update to the Play Music application. It’s live in the Play Store now.
Do you guys use Google Music or another streaming application?
Cheers William, Jason, and Craig!

Samsung S-Memo Security Flaw Reminds Us of the Dangers of Rooting a Device

Posted: 12 Nov 2012 06:54 PM PST

A cautionary tale for you on this Monday, brought to you from XDA. A user was looking through his rooted Galaxy S3 system files the other day and decided to open up the S-Memo database in SQLlte. I’m not sure what he was looking for, but one thing he was surprised to find was that the application stored his Google password in plaintext, no encryption of any kind.
Now, before you go looking for S-Memo to uninstall, developers have responded to the thread saying that he only had access to that database because his device was rooted. However, if a malicious application was allowed root*privileges*it could*conceivably*gain access to the same place where that password was stored. Not an immediate risk for any rooted S3 users, but let this be a warning: be careful what applications you give root-access to.

By using this invite ID 946-117-533 you will get
*Royal Seal in order to gain new warriors you meet.
*Gold Box Key use to unlocks the Gold Secet Box. 6 - 7 star, even 8 star warrior included
*Experience Book. level up your warrior
*Elixir Recover 100% Energy, Health and Stamina
*Arachnid Axe Weapon +500 Atk
*Viper Helmet Armor +500 Def

Personal tip no.1:
Even 4 or 5 star cards may give terrible stats upon level up. If the stat jump from level 1 to 2 is around 90 overall (increase in atk+ increase in def) then it is probably decent. The best indication is level 2 to 3. If the stat increase is between 50 to 60, that is a card worth spending exp books on. Don't waste exp on Leech Dragon.

Personal tip no.2:
Although other players cannot see your defence stats when looting, they can see how many warriors have been assigned to defence. Ideally both your attack and defence stats are similar, but it is still possible to bluff by having a decent number of warriors assigned to def and having a high attack stat.

Personal tip no.3:
Save up potions for events, and use them wisely. Also join a good guild, but don't forget to pick up the guild collected warriors (collecting 1000 of each treasure collection, only happens once per guild) before joining a high ranked guild.

Personal tip no.4:
There is a Lord of the Dragons wiki, but it isn't easily found on Google unless the word "wiki" is put into the search bar.

Personal tip no.5:
If you are looting treasure for a collection, you will want to loot two pieces per 5 stamina so that if one is looted from you, at least you retain one while recovering from injury.

Personal tip no.6:
Use the reward system to help upgrade safe level. For example, from level 10 to level 11 safe level, you can only safely store 40,000 gold, whereas the cost to upgrade is 100,000 gold. By claiming a total of 60,000 gold rewards at the right moment, you can easily safely upgrade your safe.

Fun events and great rewards. Join with your friends. Just type invite ID 946-117-533.

KNOWN PROBLEMS:
* Doesn't count properly global usage on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 8.9 - this problem affects other data counting applications as well and is caused by a bug on the tablet itself. You may try to check the "Calculate global usage from usage by app" advanced option as a possible workaround (feedback welcome).
* Doesn't count properly global mobile usage on Samsung Galaxy R / Z (i9103) and possibly Galaxy Y. Problems were also reported with the Captivate Glide. Same workaround as for the Galaxy Tab (see above).
* Early versions of 3GW Pro reported as not working on ZTE Blade/Orange San Francisco (black screen).
OTHER PROBLEMS:
If you run into problems and wish to help to solve the problem while giving the community a chance to get a better 3GW Pro, please send a mail to contact-pro@3gwatchdog.fr with details.
3GW Pro can't possibly work perfectly on all possible phone models (more than 2000 target devices) with all Android stock or custom versions + all manufacturers' custom layers (such as HTC Sense) + all carriers' custom layers + all combinations of installed applications, so please be understanding and collaborative rather than just angry if everything is not immediately perfect. Thank you.
