| Thursday Poll: How Many Android Apps Have You Paid For? Posted: 04 Oct 2012 07:10 PM PDT  In my eyes, if I think I will get my money’s worth, then I’ll purchase the app. Then again, if I’m not sure on buying a game or app, I love it when developers offer a free or “lite” version for people to test run. As another thought, I recall not too long ago when many believed Android users were cheap.*I certainly hope that isn’t the case anymore. As a note, we mean how many apps have you paid for in your entire time with Android, not just what you have on your device as of this moment. | 32GB Nexus 7 Shows Up on Reseller Site, Could Ship October 24 Posted: 04 Oct 2012 07:10 PM PDT  As you can see, the price from resellers is listed as $259.92, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that it will retail for $300 or higher should Google sell it. Because if you look at the price for the 8GB model, it sits way above its Google Play price of $199. So don’t take the pricing here as gospel. In fact, ignore it. What our guy was able to find out, is that his reseller is expecting to receive shipments of the 32GB Nexus 7 some time around October 24 and that this is a “special model.” It’s anyone’s guess as to what that means. The good news is that this is a second sighting in as many days. Cheers K! |

| DROID RAZR HD Screen Protectors Arrive in Some Verizon Stores Posted: 04 Oct 2012 12:49 PM PDT  One report claimed that they were delayed until November because of antenna issues. While we haven’t heard that from any of our friends, we have heard that third party Verizon stores are looking at October 18 as a potential date, even including it on their latest MAP (minimum advertised price) lists. Today, screen protectors started to arrive in stores, which is always a good sign that a launch is creeping closer. It doesn’t necessarily mean that October 18 is set in stone, but it does show that stores are preparing for a launch in the very near future. With a set of ultra-impressive devices rumored to be launching in the coming months, how are you going to pick one over the other? Does the RAZR HD or MAXX HD still make your short list?
